I am back from my adventures. I have been keeping up on Facebook which means that my blog gets the back burner. Anyone wanna follow me on Facebook my link is www.facebook.com/rainwings

Here are pics of my backpacking trip. We went with a group a from Montrose. It was a wonderfully, challenging, life changing experience. I cried, I laughed a ton and I got to know the Holy Spirit better and my two YL kids that went.

This pic is kinda funny cuz we are on a rock surrounded by snow
and here I am with my shoes off.

This how are tents looked. Not actually tents at all but flies.
I guess that is how the army does it too. Most of the time we were
warm but not always on a flat surface.

This picture doesn't do justice the day it was taken. We got up at 5am(over sleeping) and climbed on ice bridges, snow bridges, and dropped are packs (80 lbs or so) to hike to the top. Upon our decent, you will see here that we slightly cliff'd out. We litterly slid down the rest of the way on our bottoms, while Phil (the guy at the bottom) caught us before we hit a pile of rocks. It was so much fun but a few in the group were seriously scared to tears.
